Music at Congregation Albert
ZAMIR
Zamir, meaning music, is the name of Congregation Albert's volunteer adult choir. The choir sings monthly for Shabbat services, on High Holy Days and throughout the year on special occasions.
Rehearsals have resumed! Rehearsals are Tuesday nights at 6:00 pm at Congregation Albert.

CONGREGATION ALBERT BAND
The Congregation Albert Band is made up of volunteers who play a variety of instruments including guitar, piano, string bass, cello, clarinet, and percussion. Rehearsals take place adjacent to or along with Zamir rehearsals on Tuesdays.

HASHIRAH
Hashirah is the Congregation Albert Youth Choir. This choir consists of students in 2nd – 5th grades with a special interest in Jewish music and singing. They sing regularly for Shabbat Services and on special occasions. When Hashirah resumes, they will meet every Religious School Sunday from 9-9:25 am.

March 10 - Rabbi Sydney Henning Danziger will join us on Zoom to offer the D'var Torah for Erev Shabbat Services
March 17/18 - Rabbi Paul Citrin will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination by leading and teaching on Shabbat
April 7/8 - Rabbi Darah Lerner will lead Torah study and join us for Shabbat services with an interactive sermon and a study of poetry
April 22 - Rabbi Oren Hayon will lead Torah Study on Zoom
May 12/13 - Cantor Jacquie Marx will be our Scholar in Residence for Erev Shabbat, Shabbat Morning and a Havdalah Hootenanny
May 19/20 - Rabbi Harry Rosenfeld will celebrate his Bar Mitzvah Torah Portion during Shabbat by offering a D'var Torah and leading Torah Study
